      Stephen Lalonde is a kind and giving man.

      A steadfast volunteer for Child Hunger Brantford (CHB), Stephen makes two trips a week to deliver lunches to five elementary schools between September and June.

      During summer, he continues his work by bringing groceries to 13 families every Thursday.

      It’s a sunny day at Mohawk Park and the Random Acts of Kindness group has just finished handing out Freezies to folks enjoying the park’s amenities.

      A creative community idea came to realization on Friday, July 21 at St. Basil Community Homes.

      Sharon Gashgarian of ViBrant ARC (Art Reconnecting Community), along with Laurie Macintyre and Tammy Wellman of Jaycee Homes, met at 77 Pearl St. in Brantford for the first-ever Art in the Park celebration, which included the unveiling of Brantford’s very own Free Little Art Gallery (FLAG).
