OFFICERS:

Daniel Custodio, President 

Daniel has a Business Degree from McMaster and is now working towards his MBA. He is employed as a Director of Product and Pricing for a building materials company in Brantford.

Zile Ozols,  Vice-President 

Zile is the Manager of Programming and Partnerships at the Brantford Public Library.  She has been a member of the agency’s Person-Centered Excellence Committee, which oversees our Strategic Plan.  She brings experience  in building and creating partnerships with various sectors of the local community and in project planning.

Pam Papez, Treasurer

Pam has experience in Recreation and Leisure Studies with a focus on gerontology through her career as a Recreation Therapist. She is very active with the Girl Guides. She also brings a family perspective to the Board.

Cristin Ladner, Executive Director and Secretary

 DIRECTORS:

Rebecca Chapple, Director

Rebecca is a Special Education Resource Teacher and has been employed by the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board since 2001.

 Nadwa Elbadri, Director 

Nadwa brings a technical background in engineering and management.   She is a committed community volunteer with the Brantford Mosque and Equal Grounds Community Gardens.  She believes everyone deserves to be able to fully engage in their community and that community developers are essential in achieving this.

Stefennie Jagt, Director

Stefennie lives in Brantford and has received services from Community Living Brant for several years. She is a strong advocate for women’s issues.  She has been a participant in CLBrant focus groups and self-advocate work.  She loves to write, and her writings advocate that people matter.

Tricia Klunder, Director 

Tricia brings a family perspective to the Board.  She is a recruiter with experience as a corporate recruiter for a multi-national company.   She brings experience from being a volunteer and a Board member of Extend-A-Family in Toronto.  She was also a mentor with the Toronto Regional Immigrant Employment Council.

Darlene Manzer-Hall, Director 

Darlene offers a family perspective.  She is a parent and also brings her experience from having careers in the construction/engineering business, specifically accounting management, purchasing and estimating, and the equestrian field.  Her final studies were at Mount Saint Vincent University.  She has volunteered with the CNIB, Parent Association at W. Ross Macdonald School,  and Canadian Council for the Blind.

Duncan Ross, Director 

Duncan brings experience as a professional in insurance, risk management, strategic planning, fundraising, finance and law.  He is currently a Client Executive with a risk management, insurance brokerage and benefits consulting firm.  He holds volunteer involvement with Brant Waterways Foundation, Brant Cycling Club and various volunteer positions with the Chamber of Commerce.

Philip Scott, Director

Philip is a creative and active volunteer at Rogers TV and is also involved in community theatre. He also actively plays in a band. He is a Drum Instructor for the Arts After School Kids Program. He is also a volunteer board member with Brant Waterways Foundation and the Brant Curling Club.
