Pam Papez, President

Pam has experience in Recreation and Leisure Studies with a focus on gerontology through her career as a Recreation Therapist. She is very active with the Girl Guides. She also brings a family perspective to the Board.

Darlene Manzer-Hall, Vice-President 

Darlene offers a family perspective.  She is a parent and also brings her experience from having careers in the construction/engineering business, specifically accounting management, purchasing and estimating, and the equestrian field.  Her final studies were at Mount Saint Vincent University.  She has volunteered with the CNIB, Parent Association at W. Ross Macdonald School,  and Canadian Council for the Blind.

Scott Hawthorn, Treasurer

Scott is a self-employed entrepreneur with extensive experience in business and government aspects.

Debbie Cavers, Executive Director and Secretary


Rebecca Chapple, Director

Rebecca is a Special Education Resource Teacher and has been employed by the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board since 2001.

Daniel Custodio, Director

Daniel is recently married and a resident of Brantford since 2016. He is originally from Hamilton where he got his Business Degree from McMaster, and is now working on his MBA. He works as a Product Manager for a building materials company in Brantford.

Nadwa Elbadri, Director 

Nadwa bring a technical background in engineering and management.   She is a committed community volunteer with the Brantford Mosque, Equal  Grounds Community Gardens, and the Food Bank.  She believes everyone deserves to be able to fully engage in their community and that community developers are essential in achieving this.

Bruce Jones, Self-Advocate Director

Bruce is supported by Community Living Brant and currently is the Vice-President of the R.E.A.C.H. Out Self-Advocates Committee. He is also a member of the agency’s Person-Centered Excellence Committee.

Philip Scott, Director

Philip is a creative and active volunteer at Rogers TV and is also involved in community theatre. He also actively plays in a band. He is a Drum instructor for the Arts After School Kids Program.
