Community Living Brant is accepting resumes from people in the community with a variety of skills suited to support individuals with a developmental disability.


 

PROGRAM ASSISTANTS

(For various residential programs)

DUTIES include:

  • Provide assistance to individuals with daily living as required including, but not limited to:
  • Personal care (e.g. lifting and transferring, personal hygiene), meal preparation and nutrition, budgeting, housekeeping, laundry, shopping
  • Implement supports to individuals to achieve personal goals as established through person centred plans and individual support agreements
  • Support each individual to develop skills and assume roles which promote their effective participation in the typical and valued life of their community
  • Maintain complete and confidential information for each individual

HOURS OF WORK: Up to 24 hours per week
SALARY:   $20.33 to $22.10 per hour 


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One year post secondary education in a related discipline and one year directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s license
  • Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
  • Good attendance record
